I have had numerous conversations with shoes experts to ascertain what “Mary Jane” style shoes should look like.
A friend of mine who is a young and up and coming designer as produced a rather interesting interpretation.
This version has a good 4 inch stiletto heel which is sturdy to walk on and offers a good degree of balance. If like me you are always running late for trains or buses than you will appreciate the need for a sturdy heel that can accommodate faster than average walks.
The inside of the shoe (the foot bed) is generously padded and has been designed with the intention of long periods of wear.
The finish is contemporary black patent… that almost yells out “look I’m hot” yet still manages to pull off the sophisticated professional look that many of us demand from our wardrobe these days.
Obvious question does it have the “C” factor (by C I mean celebrity) Well okay I’ve yet to see celebs wearing a style like this, but to be honest its quite a rare production which I feel only adds to the allure.J
I don’t have a complete size range of these although I do have the popular sizes at my eBay site and are around £21.99. They may roll out in more variety in the future but in order to keep them exclusive the production numbers will be quite low.
